PICTURES OF FORT SCOTT, KANSAS! (A Stop Along The Way To Arkansas) - September 2005
Okay, I'll admit it: These pictures are more of a "teaser" to upcoming photos of the ColoradoGuy Festival! Nevertheless, here are pictures of Fort Scott, Kansas! :)
Special thanks to Kansas Kelly for driving! (Kelly holds a Kansas tourism magazine.)

They have a really quaint downtown with historic shop faces. Kind of a lazy, hazy Kansas town!
I didn't get a good photo of the historic Fort Scott buildings, but click the adjacent thumbnail to read more about it.
What?! I thought only Manitou Springs, Colorado had that cute green trolley! :p)

A few photos just off State Highway 69.

The old gas pump reminds me of the ones in Beulah, Colorado.

We went into the Fort Scott Museum for a tour and um, let's just say things were rather wordy during the tour. They've got some interesting stuff in there, but if you do the tour, I highly suggest saying you only have five to ten minutes so that you can ESCAPE if gets to be too much.

In the bottom photo, I was rubbing my eyes out from getting my ears talked to death! I know, I know, I should have taken a picture of the tour guide, but it just didn't happen! :p)

Stay tuned! More and better photos from the 2005 ColoradoGuy Festival in Arkansas are coming real soon! :)
